Nexus Orbis

Know your
orbit.

The people you know, and how you know them. Keep your personal and professional relationships in one private app.

Nexus Orbis is a nexography app: it maps your orbit.

YOUR PEOPLE, IN PERSPECTIVE

A little more context

Sound familiar?

You met someone great. Three months later: who were they, and where did you meet?

Save how you met, a few notes and the conversations you want to remember. Pick up the thread before your next meeting.

A stack of business cards and a phone full of ‘John Work’.

Scan a business card, exchange QR cards, or import contacts from your phone or a file. Review possible duplicates and bring the details together.

You keep meaning to catch up.

Choose how often you want to stay in touch. Home shows who it’s time to reach out to. Plus adds reminder notifications.

Who do I know at that company?

Keep people connected to companies and their roles. Use the Orbit map to explore your contacts by company, industry, school, tag, city or country.

Work and life, tangled in one address book.

Keep a Personal space, and add one Business space with Plus. Choose a Professional, Personal or Social QR card and decide what it shows.

Your network shouldn’t be locked in someone else’s tool.

Export your data or delete your account when you choose. Nexus Orbis never messages your contacts on its own.

How it works

From a first meeting
to your next hello.

  1. Bring everyone in.

Import from this phone or a CSV or vCard file. Take a photo of a business card, choose an image or paste an email signature. Review the details before saving.

  2. Add the context.

Keep notes, tags, categories, importance and structured addresses. Log meetings, calls, messages, emails and events. Link people to companies and record how they connect.

  3. Keep in touch.

Set a rhythm for each person. Check Time to reach out on Home, and use Plus reminders when you want a notification.

Find the people you’re thinking of.

Sort, filter and group your people. Sort your companies. Mark connections Strong, Moderate or Light, then explore the groups in your Orbit map.

Record roles such as board member, advisor, investor, founder, client or vendor contact, and consultant. Link companies as parent and subsidiary, investor and portfolio company, client and vendor, or partners.

Possible duplicates can account for name variants such as Bob and Robert, along with other matching details. Review the suggestion before merging.

A card for the moment.

Choose Default, Professional, Personal or Social. Decide which details each QR card shows. The person scanning your card doesn’t need Nexus Orbis.

Business-card reading supports Latin-script, Korean, Japanese and Chinese cards. Check the captured details before saving.

Find your fit

More than a phonebook.
Lighter than a CRM.

Remember the person, see the connections and make the next hello count. Here’s how the tools compare for managing your own relationships.

Beyond phone contacts

Context, not just a card.

Keep the story of how you met, what you talked about and who connects to whom.

Beyond business address books

Put the pieces together.

Bring people, company roles and relationship context into one place you can carry with you.

An alternative to sales CRMs

Your people. Your pace.

Start with personal relationships and a keep-in-touch rhythm, without building a sales pipeline.

Stars show our assessment of personal relationship fit, not customer reviews. 1 = limited fit · 3 = partial fit · 5 = strong fit. Rated on current capabilities; planned additions earn no stars yet.

How we rate · sources and scope

These are RHY Labs’ editorial judgments about fit for an individual managing personal and professional relationships—not independent test scores or a ranking of overall product quality. The rows consider context, visual connections, separation of work and life, follow-up, everyday access, and setup. We credit existing strengths, including simple phone contacts and powerful CRM activity tools.

Examples: Apple Contacts; the contact-management parts of Outlook and Google Contacts; and Salesforce/HubSpot sales CRMs. A grouped column summarizes that use case, not identical features in every product. Companion apps and paid editions are noted where relevant. Product documentation checked October 16, 2026. Nexus Orbis reflects the 0.7.2 launch feature set; the app is preparing for launch.

Card reading stays on your phone.

Card photos and text are read on-device and aren’t uploaded for recognition. The photo the app takes, and its temporary copy of an image you choose, are deleted after reading. Your original photo stays in your library. Details you choose to save sync to your account.

You decide when to reach out.

Nexus Orbis never messages your contacts on its own.

Take your information with you.

Export a space as JSON, or export contacts as CSV or vCard. You can delete your account in the app or request deletion through our website.

Your account data syncs through our service providers. See the privacy policy for storage, access, diagnostics and retention details.

A few things to know

Good questions.

Need a hand?
We’re here to help.

How is this different from my phone’s contacts?

Nexus Orbis keeps the context alongside the contact: how you met, your notes, a timeline you log, and links to companies and other people. You can set a keep-in-touch rhythm and explore your contacts in the Orbit map.

Is it a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce?

Nexus Orbis is a personal relationship app for you. It helps you keep up with friends, family and professional contacts. If you need a team sales system with company workflows, compare products built for that work.

Does it message my contacts?

No. Nexus Orbis never sends messages to your contacts on its own. You decide when and how to reach out.

Where is my data, and can I take it with me?

The phone app keeps a local copy and syncs your records to your account through our hosting provider. Export a space as JSON, or your contacts as CSV or vCard. JSON includes the broader records such as companies, links and notes. You can delete your account in the app or request deletion through our website. The privacy policy explains provider access and retention.

Does it work offline?

The phone app works offline after your first sign-in. Changes sync when you reconnect. Browser access is on the way.

Which languages and devices?

Nexus Orbis has 24 interface languages. The mobile builds support iPhone with iOS 16.4 or later and Android 7 or later. Check the download section for current store availability.

What does Plus add?

Plus adds reminder notifications, one Business space and Linked in your orbit, which shows the links you’ve recorded between people in a group. It costs $9/month or $99/year in US dollars; local prices and taxes vary by store.

Can I use it for work?

Yes. Keep professional contacts, companies, roles and notes alongside the people you know personally. Plus adds one Business space to keep a separate collection under the same login.

Can I use it on my computer?

Nexus Orbis is coming to the web. We’ll add a sign-in link when it’s ready.
